In the Name of God Amen I William Bean of the parish of Chiddingly in the County of Sussex Yeoman being of sound Disposing mind and memory praised be Almighty God do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (That is to say) First I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth to be Decently Buried at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter named and as to All my Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with after payment of my just Debts and Funeral Expences I Give and bequeath as followeth Imprimis I Give and Bequeath to my loving Wife Elizabeth Bean all my Dwelling house Barns Buildings Gardens Orchards and fourteen Acres of Lands lying and being in the parish of Chiddingly aforesaid and likewise ten Acres of Lands lying and being in the parish of Laughton in the County aforesaid Dureing the term of her natural Life and after her decease to my Son Thomas Bean and his heirs forever Subject nevertheless to what I shall hereafter give and devise Item I Give to my Daughter Elizabeth Peckham the sûm of Twenty five pounds of Good and lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid to her by my said Son Thomas Bean twelve Months after my Wife's Decease Item I Give to my Grandson Thomas Peckham one Feather Bed with Blankets Covering hanging Bedsted and All thereto belonging being the Largest Bed with Blue hanging and now standing in the ketchen Chamber to be delivered Twelve Months after my Wifes Decease by my said Son Thomas Bean Item I Give to my Daughter Mary Meads the sûm of Twenty pounds of good and lawfull money of great Britain to be paid her by my Son Thomas Bean twelve months after my Wifes Decease and likewise I give to my Daughter Mary Meads one Feather Bed and Bed Sted with Blankets Covering hanging and all theirto belonging being the further Bed in the Hall Chamber with Green hanging to be delivered twelve months after my Wifes Decease by my said Son Thomas Bean but my Will and mind is as above that my said Wife Elizabeth Bean shall have and enjoy all that I shall die possessed of during the term of her natural life and after her decease my will and mind is that it shall remain and be to my Son Thomas Bean and his heirs for ever as above mentioned Subject nevertheless to the payment and delivery of what is herein as above by me given and devised And Lastly I do nominate Constitute and apoint my said Wife Elizabeth Bean and my Son Thomas Bean Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby Revokeing and making void all former Will or Wills by me at any time heretofore made and I do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Testator William Bean have hereunto Sett my hand and seal this Twenty Sixth Day of March in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven Hundred fifty seven
